Unlike many other mountain areas our cabins up here are literally out in the forest, the closest being 4 1/2 miles further east along the Scenic Highway 38 towards Big Bear Lake. The vast majority of these cabins are relatively remote, well off the beaten path. In a normal year 2 or 3 of these cabins might become available, rarely ever more than that so when a new one comes up it is recommended that it be considered seriously because another may be a long way off.
